Calculating employee wages is complicated enough before you even start considering unique pay situations. Non-exempt employees usually earn an hourly wage, but did you know that there are other methods of payment that may be appropriate depending on the job and situation? Join us as we walk through the requirements of piece rate pay, multiple pay rates, and non-discretionary bonuses. We’ll also focus on correctly calculating travel and on-call pay and will then explore travel time pay obligations and compensation requirements for an employee who is on call.
