It is our commitment to protect the privacy of our clients to the fullest extent possible. Much of the information that is provided to us, or that we gather is not publicly available, and therefore, we take great care to ensure that this information is kept safe from unauthorized access. Any and all security or personal identification numbers provided to the COMPANY shall be kept strictly confidential. We respect your privacy and value your trust, and therefore, only designated employees will be allowed to access your nonpublic personal information and they will only have access to that information to use it to service your affairs or provide services for your benefit. Commonwealth Payroll & HR, diligently maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal standards to guide your nonpublic personal information and to assist us in preventing unauthorized access to that information. However, in order for us to provide you with the benefits and services that you requested by becoming a client of Commonwealth Payroll & HR, it is necessary for us to share certain information about you, or use that information in providing the services we are to provide for your benefit. The information that we share for your benefit, may come from you, or may be derived by the services we provide. Further, we may provide information to certain third-parties that perform operational services related to your affairs and the services that we are to provide, however, in all instances we will receive your authority or protect your shared information with these types of third-parties as required by law. Some of the third-parties might include financial companies (such as an insurance service provider, banker, or broker) medical advisor, or medical institution, including Federal and State Departments of Health and Human Services.
We provide this notice to every client with whom we have a business relationship. A business relationship is constituted by a written Engagement Agreement between yourself and Commonwealth Payroll & HR.
We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that protected health and financial information is only used by and disclosed to individuals that have a right to the protected information and it is our intention to protect health and financial information for payment purposes only, unless otherwise instructed. Commonwealth Payroll & HR is not involved with treatment or healthcare operations. Should you the client want Commonwealth Payroll & HR to release your protected financial or health information to any third-party, other than those third parties described above, then you the client, shall complete a written authorization.
